While attending college, Regina was intrigued by the study of Interpersonal Communications which gave insight to understanding how to effectively communicate with others and help them to express their emotions. She was motivated by this knowledge to help individuals and families better communicate, to translate what is really being said versus what is heard. She believes that most relationships would be stronger and greatly benefit from understanding the skills of Interpersonal Communication.
In her pursuit of happiness, Regina realized that her gifts were God-ordained and that there was a spiritual assignment to utilize her Interpersonal Communication skills and the Word of God to impact the lives of others. After completing her Bachelors of Arts in Communication, she studied at the First Baptist Bible Institute for two years, for a better understanding and foundation in the Word of God. She also completed a two year certificate program for the Methodology and Ideology of Chaplaincy at the Mason Kelly Bible Institute at Zion Cathedral Church of God in Christ. After completing these courses her fire was ignited and Regina was moved with the passion to minister to the people of God and to enlighten their eyes of understanding. She believed, “If people really understood what the Bible is saying, they would be more apt to live it!” In 2001, she was licensed into the Gospel Ministry under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Robert D. Abbott, at the Holy Baptist Church, Amityville, NY.
In spite of her desires to succeed, there were many challenges she has faced in her process. Many have observed her strength and tenacity to overcome every obstacle and every attack of the enemy. Despite rejection, emotional abuse, the fire of affliction and isolation, Regina continues to press toward the mark of the High Calling in Christ Jesus! She has used every challenge as a vehicle to grow in Christ, continue in the transformation process and be an effective witness to others. Her testimony of change in her own life is what empowers her movement in ministry, lifestyle and in attitude! This is evident when you have the privilege of hearing her preach the gospel.

Regina Ravenell-Carr is a trailblazer in Ministry. In 2010, she began her ministry, Christian Uprise Thru Edification – A Discipleship Ministry, which is thriving as a monthly fellowship, weekly Prayer Conference Call and monthly bible study. In 2013, she was ordained into the office of Pastor, under Apostle Dr. Patricia A. Wiley of the Oil of Joy Ministries II, Brooklyn NY. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, undergoing surgery and four months of chemotherapy, in 2014, Pastor Carr wrote a book called, “Believing Beyond – A Journey from Unbelief to Great Faith!” As the book was being published, Pastor Carr completed the certificate course and was certified as a Christian Life Coach. She believes that it is the divine intervention of the Holy Spirit that has allowed her love of ministry, being an author and a Christian Life Coach that is affording her the opportunities to effectively witness, encourage, strengthen, establish and perfect her listening audience! Pastor Carr is also the host of an internet radio broadcast called, “Wake Up and Be Awesome on churchtalkradio.com!
Her metamorphosis has been designed by God and she is fearfully and wonderfully made. Her spiritual assignment is to equip and empower those God has called, to do the work of the ministry. Pastor Carr believes that each of us has a divine purpose and is challenged with finding our fit in His purpose. As a Christian Life Coach, she accepts the responsibility to help you awaken your spiritual purpose, identify your core values and find your fit! She brings her core values of Vision, Integrity (and Insight), Structure and Accountability, to every relationship to help you move from where you are to where you are supposed to be. Pastor Carr is sought after for workshops and conferences with various churches. She has served as a facilitator for the Eastern Baptist Association and the Empire State Baptist Convention. She also ministers at local correctional facility with the The Safe Harbor Prison Ministry.
Pastor Carr is a professional, certified life coach and currently offers holistically based, creative Christian life coaching, both individually and in group sessions.

Believing Beyond book as been a treasure to read. From learning that I had Temporary faith to realizing that I was trying to hide for the spiritual baby God was trying to birth in me.
